Happy March Madness My Loves – There’s a new trend catching on, people are romanticizing their lives and dating themselves!!

What if I told you You do not need to be single to date yourself? Some of my most magical days have involved just me, myself and I doing simple things like cleaning and going to the gym. For example I had a magical day today, woke up early cleaned my apartment and did some organizing. I recently moved into a new apartment and I have been obsessed with making it my own little world. I remember reading a quote from Bethany, you know the woman behind Skinny Girl Margarita? She said when you have designed your home the way you want it, you really don’t feel the need to go anywhere.
A quick work out session with my friend, got my nails redone popped into Starbucks and went home to tackle laundry. Reading through emails and a massive salad beside me while I write this blog post and I feel pure bliss. It’s now almost 3am as I am writing this and let me just say today was easily one of the best days of my life. I am working on my latest product – “Talk Therapy” I think it’s so important to realize that you should be able to enjoy your own company like this without feeling lonely.
2023 is the year I am embarking on a new self love journey, it’s been a while since I’ve done this. This year I want to date myself and love myself like never before. I don’t just mean buying myself more bags, even though I love that too. I mean I want to launch into a full “I’m dating myself journey”. I am known to buy myself roses at least once bi-weekly, the white ones are my fave. I want to kick it up a notch this year, I want jewelry. I want to commemorate this new phase of loving myself with something special something I can wear all the time. I’ve been adding things to my cart on Aurate New York’s website like my name is Beyonce, but honestly I want everything. This is my style, simple minimal, great quality and it doesn’t cost me an unreasonable amount of money. Help me pick a cute pair of earrings to never take off – Earrings or Rings?

Commemorate the Start of Your Self Love Journey
You know when a person decides they want to spend the rest of their lives with somebody, so they buy them a ring and propose? Yeah it’s like that, I am making a promise to myself that I want to give myself every opportunity possible to be happy. Why hasn’t anyone told us it was ok to shamelessly love ourselves the way we shamelessly (sometimes foolishly) love other people? To continue with this self love and dating myself journey, I wanted to kick off the season with something special, for Valentines day I got myself something a little different I got myself a Vacuum, I know not sexy at all but who cares. Cleaning is one of my favorite past times and I was tired of plugging in that big bulky vacuum I originally had – I got a Shark cordless pet vacuum and I do not regret it (Click here if you wanna see it).
My final gift to myself in this whole new dating process is a bag, yes, yes I know what you’re thinking another bag. Listen this is a Madewell Stan account always so you knew it was coming. The Madewell Transporter flap bag has been on my list since it debuted last year. I’ve had my eyes on it and last week to end February on a strong note I caved and decided it was coming home with me that day – I walked to the Standford shopping center and happily purchased the last one they had available in store. There are plenty online though so take a look Here.
How do you plan on loving yourself this year, comment down below and what will you be getting yourself to commemorate the act, PS get something from Aurate New York and thank me later we can be twins!

I hope you find freedom to love yourself first and then others, just like they are. I hope one day you realize that life is too short and just one, to waste it in fuckery and understand what really is important.
