The Decision – An Audible Original Series
Ok but low key Audible has been putting out some great content. This is not a plug for audible, neither is it sponsored, but with all due respect it should be. Audible “Call me” 🤙. Kevin Hart dropped something on Audible at the end of May and it wasn’t even on my radar. But after watching his Instagram story about him finding a Cobra in the bushes at his house and plugging the Audible collab. I decided to look it up, and also he’s hilarious I wanted to know what was up with this Audio book. I’ve never read anything from Hart before so I downloaded it.
I started listening to the book and within five minutes, I suggested it to my friend and posted it to my Instagram stories. Hart delivers self help with a stand up comedy vibe, under a military presence and I LOVED IT!!! It was funny without being overly funny, so it’s a book you can take serious, but its not so serious that it’s heavy.
Hart speaks about his journey to being a comedian, his public scandals and what he has learned along the way. He speaks about controlling your ego, making yourself accountable for your own actions, Hart also jokes about the negativity hurled at him on social media over the years. A great quote from the book that I also tweeted was this:
The smartest person in the room doesn’t say they’re the smartest person in the room. The smartest person in the room sits back and let’s everybody talk while they listen

So this is my book spotlight, because I had no idea that Hart was going to deliver like that. Consider him a life coach, preparing you for the battle that is your life. What books really shocked you this year?
