Ode to Digicel

Oh How I wish I were as smart as Digicel, How you trick us and continously lie to us yet we love you.

Digicel has a promotion called “sweet deal” where you sign up for a post paid account and you get a blackberry curve or a Bold on contract I think for two years, the deal begun on the 23rd of August and ends September 5. hahahahah somewhere deep down inside of me i knew that Digicel was probably gonna give away five phones and call it a sweet deal, woieeee so said so done. I went to the Digicel store in Soverign and the guy behind the counter almost twisted up in laughter as I walked in, lets say I’m a regular there and I’m a very vocal customer. So I asked him about this deal he said we have no more phones, no store has any so i asked how long ago did they finish he says on friday they got 5 and they finished in half an hour!! They got 5! huh 5 Digicel? Why didn’t you just sell us the phones at a discounted price instead of unwillingly give them away? “kiss teeth”.

So I phoned the guy who had called me when I was having issues with my current blackberry and I was asking him about it, he sweetly said he would seek out if they had anymore and get back to me. Once again if you don’t know someone in Jamaica “dog niam you supper” but I haven’t gotten through yet so lets see, does Digicel Value me as a good customer or ummmm don’t they???
