Today I ran to the supermarket after the gym, I had an epiphany and I needed to get my diet back on track. When I say diet I don’t mean I’m trying to lose weight, I simply mean the way I eat. I went to the supermarket and while I was walking around picking up my groceries that specifically read Non- GMO, Organic, No preservatives and things of that nature a woman caught my attention. She was in the isle I was trying to get into, she was a very large woman.
Hey everyone it’s that time of year again when some of us revise our skin care and beauty regime. Now a lot of you have been complimenting me on youtube, saying I have a glow and my skin looks good. Although I don’t see it I have decided to share what Im doing differently. Last summer I suffered from temperamental skin, and break outs every other day. My skin was not in a good place I’m still not sure what was happening.
So Lent ended a couple days ago April 13 was the last day of Lent. I can’t believe I managed it that long and really stuck it through and didn’t eat meat. A Lot of people are asking me how, and some have even confessed that they couldn’t do it. Honestly if you want to do something you can its that simple, I knew I wanted to give up meat and I was excited about
Dear Black Girl, they told you a lot of things but they never told you how beautiful you are.
Im so excited about this post and the look book I did surrounding it . The entire look was inspired by a denim dress, overalls I purchased from H&M a couple weeks ago. The overalls themselves are not everyone’s cup of tea but when I saw it I knew I had to have it in my life.
In my last blog post many of you were curious about how I lost 10 Pounds in three days. The first thing I’m going to say is that’s not normal and I don’t think it’s even right for you to drop weight that quick you shouldn’t aim for that. I was also asked if I included exercise and the answer is no I did not exercise the first week of giving up meat. I honestly think what happened was my body was in shock from suddenly breaking from the meat. I drank a lot of water and ate mostly organic fruit bars. I had some pad Thai noodles with peanut sauce and tofu instead of meat, before I knew it ten pounds was gone. I would attribute the weight loss to the dramatic difference in my eating and cutting out meat for sure.
Everything you Need to Know
Every year I try to give up something for Lent, I always feel accomplished when I succeed. My most successful year was roughly seven years ago when I gave up soda, I haven’t had soda since and I don’t miss it. One of my most unsuccessful Lent stories has to be the last two years, I tried giving up shopping and failed repeatedly. So with two failed Lents on my resume I decided to do something more practical this year I decided to give up meat.
I saw this product in Walgreens one day when I was making my usual pharmacy run, picking up my usual and scrolling through the hair care department. I was intrigued at the thought of Yogurt in my hair care, it sounded legit to me. Upon inspecting the bottle the dual chamber where you could see the yogurt split from the shampoo added the cool factor of why I wanted to try this product. When I received this product to review I wanted to try it right away, I posted it to my snapchat and some of you were excited to hear my thoughts on it as well.
So a little over two years ago I decided to stop chemically processing my hair, I had just gotten married and relocated to the US and my hair was having a very negative reaction to the weather, the water and just relocating in general. I decided to go natural, what was the big deal if I didn’t like it I could always go back to relaxing my hair.
