Hey there! It’s me a stranger on the internet who you haven’t met yet, and today I want to talk about something that’s really important. If you’re thinking about having a cosmetic procedure done, it’s absolutely crucial that you do your own research before making any decisions.
I know it’s tempting to just take someone else’s word for it, especially if that person is someone you admire or trust. Maybe it’s an influencer who’s raving about their new nose job or a friend who just got a breast augmentation and can’t stop singing its praises. But here’s the thing: pictures can be altered, and what works for one person might not work for you.
I have been pretty open about my breast augmentation, I’ve done several videos on Youtube explaining everything I went through. I even spoke about post surgery depression something nobody talks about and how my healing took way longer than I thought it would. I have even said on several occasions not only am I not encouraging people to get plastic surgery but I will not be giving strangers online my doctors information because YOU NEED TO DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.

There are a lot of factors that go into choosing the right cosmetic procedure for you, including your body type, your skin type, and your overall health. Only you and your doctor can make the best decision for your unique needs and circumstances. And that decision can only be made after careful research and consultation.
So, where do you start? First and foremost, you should do your own research. Don’t rely solely on what you see on social media or what your friends tell you. Use reputable sources to educate yourself about the procedure you’re considering. Look for medical journals, scientific studies, and articles from trusted sources. Ask your doctor for recommendations on where to find reliable information. A lot of people would go to a surgeon when they barely go to their primary care doctor. They have no idea what is happening in their bodies, a successful surgery first starts with a healthy body and mind.
Next, schedule a consultation with a reputable cosmetic surgeon. During this consultation, you can ask questions, learn about the procedure, and get a sense of whether or not it’s right for you. Your surgeon can also give you an idea of what to expect during and after the procedure, as well as any potential risks or complications.
Finally, take your time. Don’t rush into a decision just because you’re excited or because you think it’s what you’re supposed to do. Cosmetic procedures are serious medical procedures, and you want to make sure you’re making the best decision for yourself. It makes me so uncomfortable when I open a DM from a complete stranger asking me bluntly “Hey can I get your surgeons information” ummm I don’t know you and I don’t want to be responsible if he gives you a bad boob job. I did my own research and didn’t ask a soul, not even people who I KNEW had work done.
In conclusion, if you’re thinking about having a cosmetic procedure done, it’s important to do your own research. Pictures can be altered, and what works for one person might not work for you. Use reputable sources to educate yourself about the procedure, consult with a reputable cosmetic surgeon, and take your time. Your health and happiness are too important to leave to chance.
