The motto and idea behind girls are the plug as stated on their website is simple.
‘Girls are the Plug’ is a women’s inspired brand known for empowering and celebrating women who are resourceful and know how to get the job done.
By getting our signature t-shirts, you’re not only making a bold statement in support of powerful women everywhere, but you’re also empowering women who may feel that their voices are not heard.
I’ve known Kimberly for years but haven’t officially met her yet. Everything about this girl blows my mind, her drive, her will and the genuine support she gives other women. Kim is also the owner of Everything Mahogany where she carries affordable pieces from size 0 to plus size. You’ve seen me wear a lot of her pieces and have even done giveaways with her. So by now you should know Kim and you should have shopped with Everything Mahogany, definitely check them out if you’re looking for a party dress or something special without the heavy price. I was beyond excited to see that she started this new venture “Girls are The Plug” because honestly this is right up her alley and every piece is a must have, my favorite is the Melanin Queen Sweatshirt, NEED!!! Kim is constantly juggling five million things at once, but she did spare me a few minutes to answer some questions and I hope it inspires you ladies out there who are scared. The aim of this series is to inspire other women that you too can have the life you’ve always dreamt about and you can chase your dreams no matter how stupid they may seem to others. Check out my mini interview with Kim below and her website HERE.
