Usually I don’t pay any attention to these things, but a couple of well known bloggers I follow recently spoke about this same thing not too long ago. Somebody just accused me of bragging *rolls eyes*. I am not someone who brags, neither do I necessarily believe in bragging. I believe in inspiration and being inspired by others, I feel good when I see other people doing well. I feel even better when I see people who came out of difficult situations doing extremely well. If you’re doing well it means I can do well too.
I will be writing a blog post coming up soon on how I survived my first year going back to college as a grown up so look out for that if you’re interested. Im back fresh from my short but sweet trip to Jamaica, its time for round two of school. Fall semester is back in full swing, and at least for the first week I like to look like I didn’t really roll out of bed. Not thats a look I tend to go for anyway. First day back to school I felt like wearing my favorite pair of jeans, you guys these jeans do something for my body and I swear nothing fits me like this, nothing! I put the links below for these jeans I’m wearing a size 2L FYI. Did anyone else start school this week, how was your first day?
I paid a short visit back home to Jamaica recently. My friends and I were having a lot chat things we want to do and where we see ourselves at the end of life’s road. Nothing seemed out of bounds or too impossible, I was so inspired and motivated by our conversation. I hardly ever talk to anyone back in the US and feel inspired, not like this.
I woke up today in another weird mood like I usually do. But then I had a brilliant idea and my weird mood was replaced with excitement. Growing up is complicated enough but to add to that list of complications is the relationships we form along the way. Friendships are one of those things that are ever changing, I still have a big batch of friends who I grew up with, went to Prep school with and have stayed in contact with over the years. We don’t see each other every day we don’t even talk everyday but whenever we do its like no love lost. Then there are other more complicated friendships, where people start to change on you and slowly start forgetting about you, sometimes this is a good thing and sometimes its not.
I love eating I mean, I really do the idea of food makes me happy even though for some strange reason I hate myself after every meal. I always over eat I wore this top from H&M which I think is everything right now for several reasons, I don’t need to wear a bra, it covers my “Food Baby” and its blue with stripes. I also got a tan last week and I’m feeling myself at the moment, my complexion has evened out thanks to the Sun. I paired my top with another classic fit, flared bell bottom jeans and topped it off with some strappy sandals. These are Bridget Sandals made in Jamaica and they pretty awesome. You can’t order them online unfortunately. Outfit details and similar looks will be down below as usual. Have a great weekend.
